RIOT FOCUS ON TOP LANE IN PATCH 13.5 WITH BUFFS

The full rundown of alterations to League of Legends in Patch 13.5 is now available on the PBE servers, providing players with a preview of what they can expect in Summoner’s Rift next week.

A total of nine champions who are not frequently played are set to receive minor buffs, with four uncommon top laners – Kennen, Aatrox, Tryndamere, and Rumble – among them. These changes to the first two champions might prompt their return to the metagame.

Kennen’s Q will be boosted, resulting in more fundamental damage and a higher ability power conversion rate. Its cooldown will be decreased, while its E will inflict more damage to minions. These updates should improve his laning stage and potentially make him more effective in team fights if he performs well in lane.

Aatrox, on the other hand, will be receiving buffs to his W and ultimate. Although they are minor modifications, a stronger World Ender could have a significant impact on team fights. Tyndamere and Rumble, on the other hand, will get even less significant enhancements to their base stats and E, respectively.

In addition to top laners, five other champions will be boosted in League Patch 13.5: LeBlanc, Fizz, Jinx, Samira, and Qiyana. The first of these will receive a new mechanic on her Q, while Fizz will receive a significant boost to his Q and W, potentially making the champion a viable option in the mid lane metagame. Jinx, on the other hand, will obtain more attack speed per level, which may be crucial.

Patch 13.5 will also nerf a number of champions, including Aurelion Sol, who has dominated the Rift since his rework in Patch 13.3.

The next patch is set to go live on Wednesday, March 8.
